WHERE CREATIVITY IS RELATIVE TO COMMUNITY

Think of this page as a snapshot in time. Behind the scenes, Kiin is constantly evolving, and these pages will grow as new ideas become experiences within the community. Click on any of the icons below to understand what Kiin is trying to do and why:

Kiin is a multi-brand platform (and a soon to be physical space) built to support and connect creatives at any stage. At its core, Kiin is about community but more than that, it's about resourceful creativity and doing the most with what we have. Kiin exists to make sure tools are accessible, opportunities are collaborative, and each creative experience is validating. All Kiin's initiatives are designed to grow with the people it serves and adapt to the needs of each community it is planted in.

Materials are carefully sorted, understood, and given a purpose, with colour-coded tags showing where they came from. By partnering with local businesses to transform waste into workshops and products, SM/LE closes the loop—turning discarded materials into opportunities for connection and creation.

SM/LE (Save, Make, Learn, Envolve) is the foundation of Kiin. By collecting and repurposing materials like paper, cardboard, wood, fabric, and plastic, it provides the resources used to create NED's creative-wear, Salvillage's furniture and paper products, and Naamio's tote bags. More than recycling, SM/LE is a circular system built around community, creativity, and thoughtful design.

THIS IS ABOUT RESTORATION

CREATIVE-WEAR FOR CREATIVE PEOPLE.

Ned - Notice Every Designer is about embracing each creative’s style, method and perspective. Ned exits to make sure that creativity is accessible regardless of the tools you use or how you use them. Whenever you work with your hands to make, design, or produce, Ned has something for your to be creative in.

until then.

Ned has had a unique and complex journey over the years but it developed into what it was always meant to be: a blank canvas for showcasing authentic individuality and collaboration. Each item - The Set, The Jumpsuit, The overalls, The Smok and The Pouch was designed with a diverse variety of creative processes in mind.

SOMETHING TO BE CREATIVE IN

RESOURCEFUL DESIGNS MADE WITH COLLABORATION IN MIND

Salvillage (Salvage + Village) began with a simple realization: I was creating more waste than I was willing to ignore. Rather than discard leftover paper, reclaimed wood, and other materials from creative projects, I challenged myself to design with them intentionally.

The result was the WOULD (We Only Use the Less Desirable) Stool, Seat Four, Pulp + Place, and the Art Board—products that transform overlooked resources into thoughtful design. Salvillage exists to prove that sustainability isn't just about reuse; it's about creating value, accountability, and collaboration from what's already available.

ABANDONED PRINTS.

NAAMIO was born from too many false starts, abandoned ideas, and the feeling that nothing I made was ever quite good enough. Rather than walk away from the creative process, I turned to screen printing—a practice built on experimentation, mistakes, and persistence.

NAAMIO exists to support those who feel left behind in their creativity. Through print, it reframes trial and error as experience, frustration as forgiveness, self-doubt as self-worth, and uncertainty as part of the process. More than a print project, it's an invitation to embrace the unconventional, the unsure, and the unacknowledged through art.

L.O.V.E HAD A FACE

LHAF is inspired by missed connections but instead of strangers, it's about reconnecting with the moments feel were just out of reach. LHAF offers encouragement, real support and reminder that it's never too late.

A CREATIVE RE-INTRODUCTION

RECONNECTING WITH YOUR CREATIVITY

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU NO LONGER RECOGNIZE YOURSELF? WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FEEL DISCONNECTED FROM THE PERSON YOU THOUGHT YOU'D BE?

LHAF (Love Had A Face) is about reconnecting with what we may have missed out on in the form of Life, Opportunities, Validation and Encouragement. LHAF represents what it means to give yourself a second chance through curated events and honest conversations (The FAHL).

ONE DAY AT A TIME

The problem isn’t always a lack of motivation. It’s the weight of trying to fix everything alone. I wanted to design something that encouraged progress without pressure — something creative, reflective, and manageable.

ODAAT became a simple, accessible tool - one with guided prompts paired with visual storytelling and an opportunity to see how far you’ve come in the form of a mini print it's A 30 day, pocket-sized coloring book designed for the sort of reflection that normalizes process over perfection.

Until ODDAT becomes the community it sets out to be, each coloring book sold will go towards opening our first physical space: A refurbished trailer.

SHAPING DESIGN.
The backbone of KIIN. Support members help shape the ecosystem from the inside out—contributing to events, systems, and community experiences while actively sustaining the space.

During the planning stages of Kiin, it was really important that memberships were super clear and reflected Kiin's idea of community. Memberships aren't meant to seperate and designate but to help identify (on a personal level and for the purpose of connecting intentionally) who each member is and their purpose in any given space.
