THE KIIN EXCHANGE
Kiin will operate as a small ecosystem of creative initiatives that supports makers, artists, and emerging projects. Through the Kiin Exchange, partners can collaborate with each of its brands depending on the kind of support or creative contribution that best suits their space or organization. These partnerships are meaningful — everything we do reflects Kiin’s values, and we approach each collaboration with care and respect.
Down the line, when Kiin has its own space, these exchanges won’t be as necessary, but for now, they let us bring our projects to life while building connections that are genuinely valuable for everyone involved.

NED designs creative-wear for creative people. Durable and crafted out of recycled/ repurposed materials, NED is a practical tool capable of handling the unpredictable environments created by those who work with their hands.Through the Kiin exchange, The Smok, the Overalls and the pouch can be customized through branded tags, labels and colors (dyes).
These three were chosen based on the needs of small creative teams. They are the most adaptable and versatile of the Ned canvases and can be customized in a way that reflects the cohesion of the team wearing them - sort of like a uniform that represents creativity not conformity.

The Overalls are designed to be both adjustable and versatile, suited to a wide range of creative needs. Large pockets can carry and hold a variety of tools, while the straps can be lengthened or shortened to fit the wearer comfortably.
Choose the Overalls if you need full coverage with flexible support—something that moves with you, not against you.
Customization options include tags and/or a small print on the front pocket.
The Smok is designed to be worn both forwards and backwards, allowing for flexible coverage depending on how you work. The pockets can hold a wide range of tools, and are large enough to carry sketchbooks or artboards.
Choose the Smok if your process tends to get a little everywhere.
Customization can be applied to the pockets and the large back panel.
The Pouch is the most minimal canvas in the NED Exchange. It’s compact, but spacious enough to hold your essentials—keeping everything you need within reach.
It can be worn in two different ways, depending on how you prefer to access your tools.
Choose the Pouch if your focus is on staying organized and knowing exactly where everything is.

NAAMIO exists to support creatives struggling with self doubt, blocks and isolation through the stages of diy screen printing. Every step from building the frame to printing the artwork represents the process of solving creative problems outside of your comfort zone.
This exchange session focuses on small-batch screen printing. Each print is done by hand on a small selection of surfaces: t-shirts, handmade tote bags, and the Ned Smok. These sessions result in a small run of printed pieces for your team or project.

the smok
Our tote bags are made from durable, repurposed dust sheets. Each one is hand-sewn and dyed, giving it a unique finish while staying practical for everyday use.
We don’t manufacture the t-shirts ourselves, but we carefully source them. We prioritize quality, affordability, and environmentally conscious options—whether that’s through the brands we choose or how the garments are produced.
Our Smoks are handmade, dyed, and produced in-house through NED. Each one can be customized with a screen print, placed either on the back or on the breast pocket.
A small print run of three items using artwork you provide. Choose between t-shirts or handmade tote bags, resulting in three printed pieces with a one-colour print. We create the screen for you.
This option includes eight printed items using your artwork. Choose between tote bags or t-shirts, all printed with a one-colour design.
A longer, more flexible session that allows for printing across multiple surfaces.
This includes ten printed items of your choice using your artwork (e.g. 10 tote bags, 10 t-shirts, or a mix including up to 4 NED Smoks)

BLUSH is a NAAMIO print series exploring faces and hands. For this option, KIIN will create an original portrait-style print inspired by the members of your team. Elements of each person — facial features are interpreted and combined into a single illustrated face in the BLUSH style. The result is a one-of-a-kind print that represents the group as a collective character. The portrait is then used for the print run, producing a small batch of shirts, or tote bags featuring the design. It’s a little weird, a little unconventional but a one of a kind illustration that represents the cohesion of your team in a unique way (for small teams of 2-4).

THRD Space Studio is a story-first approach for small and or independent brands who want to grow authentically online. THRD Space exists to help projects and small organizations better understand the impressions they leave on their audiences. Through a process called brand personification (SONA), it explores brands like they are living, breathing beings — looking at its tone, character, personality and the way it communicates.
THRD Space Studio helps clarify how a brand speaks, presents and connects. Each session results in a brand portrait — a simple document that captures the personality, tone, and direction of the brand moving forward. It creates tools, content, and structure that reflects who each brand is —and helps them stay true to that as they grow.

A brand snapshot focused on identifying the brand’s tone and style. This explores how the brand communicates, the feeling it should give people, and how that tone might translate visually or verbally. Includes a Brand Portrait summarizing the tone and style identified during the session.
A deeper brand exploration focused on tone and style, along with the development of a short campaign concept that reflects the brand’s identity. This helps translate brand personality into practical marketing ideas. Includes a Brand Portrait and a short campaign concept outline.
A full brand personification that explores tone, style, audience connection, and marketing direction. This extended option allows for the development of a more comprehensive campaign direction informed by the brand’s personality. Includes a complete Brand Portrait and a full campaign concept framework.

Sortd.4 focuses on organizing and restructuring physical and digital spaces to improve workflow, stability and usability. This can include studio organization, workspace sorting, or helping creatives and small teams create more functional systems for their materials and tools.
You don’t always need a full overhaul to feel in control again. Sometimes its a pile of papers you keep pushing aside, a digital folder full of mismatched files or the one area of your spce that’s slowly becoming a dumping ground.
The quick Fix is a focused hands on session that tacjkles one zone of disarray and leaves you feeling lighter, calmer and more functional.
Maybe your current setup used to work - but now it feels like it’s lagging behind your workflow. Things seem to pile up faster. Files get harder to find. Spaces fill with items that no longer serve you. The System refresh is a 10-15 hour package designed to update your physical or digital systems so they feel aligned again - not outdated or in your way.
Together, well reorganize 2-3 connected areas and build smart, easy to follow systems that restore clarity and improve your everyday flow.
A full workspace reset designed to improve overall workflow. This may include sorting materials, reorganizing layouts, and introducing simple organizational systems for both physical and digital creative environments.
